Jennifer Barth, Operations Manager

The majority of Jennifer's professional background over the last twenty years has been helping maintain the flow of business among the employees and customers.  Jennifer's strong points include great organizational skills, being able to multi-task, and keeping communication strong within the company.  Outside of business, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and baking.

 

Pam Jaslove, Corporate Manager

Pam has owned and operated her own entertainment business and most recently worked as a political activist concerned with environment, family farms, quality of our food and monitoring traditional healthcare delivery.  In addition, Pam is a dedicated mother of two and has an entrepreneurial husband who is CEO of a 14 year old trade publication company.  Her passion is identifying quality wherever she can find it.

 

Jamie Rawcliffe, Editorial Director/Contributing Writer

Jamie Rawcliffe has worked in the publishing industry for more than 10 years, holding a degree in English from Albion College. Jamie has served as both copy editor, managing editor and editor-in-chief of a national publication, for which she now currently serves as senior editor. Jamie is experienced in both writing and editing, as well as public relations and marketing. 

 

Mella Barnes, Editor/Writer

Mella Barnes has a background in broadcast technology and reporting with a concentration in print journalism. In addition to working for Talk of the Town, she works as a technical writer and medical communications. She has a zoo of animals who are her children, some of which she even forces to wear clothing.

Wally is a freelance writer, a former marketing specialist, and a current VP of a graphic design firm in Detroit.  His cumulative experience is an invaluable asset to the Talk of the Town team.

 

Amy Pagett, Editor

Amy has served as editor for a national publishing company since 2003. In addition to editing, Amy's experience includes creative and business writing, managing an editorial staff, and tutoring children in English and other subjects.

 

Fran Cohen, Account Manager

For over thirty years Fran served the real estate, construction and loan origination industry.  She serves as development manager for a children's health initiative and is a vital part of our Talk of the Town team because of her emphasis on customer care.

 

Jim Painter, Software Resources Corporation

As an information technology consultant for the past thirty five years, Jim brings a wealth of technical savvy to our team. During that time with his expertise in application development, database design and web site authoring he has been employed by companies such as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Chase Bank, AAA and Unisys. Jim has spent the last ten years working as a "virtual consultant" from his office in Metamora.

 

Dr. Keith Levick, Goren & Associates, Corporate Training Division

Dr. Levick is a psychologist and has run a successful corporate Training and Executive Coaching company specializing in helping employees and leaders improve their interpersonal and leadership skills.  His expertise is used by assisting Talk of the Town to help business owners improve their staff's customer care skills which has a direct impact on company reputation management and online ratings.  Dr. Levick has over 20 years experience in this field.  We are very fortunate to have him as a guest columnist and consultant.
